Beothuk Elders from Newfoundland are working together to remember the language their Elders spoke. I asked Ron Ryan if I may share the first lesson he posted to the group on the webpage in an effort to preserve the language. This is his work and a big thank you for letting me share it! It appears to be a Creole language with a type of Chinese mixed with Old Norse and Gaelic.

The Vinland Map: An Authentic North American Creation Paperback – June 4 2022
is written by Dr. Ronald Lloyd Ryan Ph.D. (Author) here is the book description
" The authenticity and provenance of the so-called Vinland Map must surely be the source of one of the most controversial issues in recent world history. Almost universally declared to be a fraud, a hoax, by some of the world's most prominent scientists and academics, the considered opinions have been repeated in almost every media in the Western World. To challenge that historical and scientific gospel is at a minimum fool-hardy.
However, the paradigm in which most of the experts and commentators labour is one that has no Medieval civilization in North America. In contrast, a ten-year independent research project has revealed that there was such a civilization – primarily a Christian civilization, mind you, one in regular communication with the Holy See - in North America and that it was the likely source of the now-infamous cartographic artifact.
But, why take our word for it? Read the evidence for yourself. Check out the references. Then, make up your own mind.
Thomas Goldstein (1966), at the Vinland Map Conference, Smithsonian Institution, 1966, declared, “ It is the explicit cartographic expression of a new type of geographic thought, which assumed the complete accessibility of the globe, thereby extending the human habitat from its tradition-bound limitations to the very ends of the earth.
Where was the new global concept developed? What tradition was there in geographic research that was able to produce a picture of the earth, bearing the unmistakable stamp of advanced and discriminating scientific thought - not just of the labors of map-making technicians? Where could the Vinland map have been produced?
The basic idea underlying the map, i.e., that the whole earth is accessible to man; that the Ocean may be used as a waterway connecting the two ends of the known continental landmass; and even that there might be some major land formations - possibly whole continents - located inside the Ocean sea
The Vinland map is the earliest known cartographic representation of the new concept of the earth.”
That is not what one would expect from a simple hoax, nor from simple Medieval sailors. This map deserves a new analysis, despite the overwhelming scientific and historical opinion to the contrary."
